Now I hope Pastrnak goes to CGY just for this clever title.

Zary would have to be Pelletier or Coronato and if the Bruins are moving Pastrnak you'd have to imagine they are looking to load up on 2023 picks. I don't think Calgary has the prospect pool or pieces to make that deal work.

Only way Boston trades Pasta is if they are out of it at the deadline and he tells them he won’t resign.

If they do trade him a young NHL top 6 center will be the main piece. Zary is not that it this point. Hanifin nice but not needed.

Pasta might waive his NTC for Calgary if they are in the playoffs and obviously Boston isnt. But there is no way he resigns a long term deal. Players aren't going to want to play in that dump of a rink.

Huberdeau is kicking himself for signing that deal before he saw the home teams locker room.

Remember when Edmonton put out that video? I think it was for the Nhl hub or Fifa and 90 percent of the video that was supposed to be pumping up edmonton was Jasper and the rockies... maybe the saddledome isn't the greatest building but the city of calgary is one of the best cities in the world.

I don't agree with that and I think this is currently an overpayment too (or at least just poorly constructed) for someone we have zero chance of re-signing. If Boston is selling at the deadline I doubt many interested playoff teams can extend him as most will certainly be looking for retention on him too.

To me they are probably looking at the Hossa return. Including Hanifin is just dumb to me and I think Zary is going to have a significantly better year in Stockton playing top 6 now

There's got to be a better way to communicate your opinion rather than calling posters ideas dumb or stupid. May I suggest "I think trading Hanifin this season would be a very bad idea" instead!? It'll be received much better I think

First, anybody who just has the argument, with no why, that "X team will not ever trade Y player", is missing the point of this site. I think it is fair assumption that the author knows this and is based on IF both teams are willing to trade the mentioned players, what the deal would look like. Its ok to bash the value of trades haha, but just saying "we are never giving up this player" means your missing the point.. haha. As a flames fan, I look at it and I say hell no, but then I think of it from the Bruins POV and think, thats a tough pill too....that tells me its probably a fair deal.....assuming both teams would be willing to move assets haha.
