Nah, the 23 1st or the 23 and 24 2nds will do to eat Muzzin's deal, but we're only sending future considerations back the other way.

For real though man, we held the door open for Dubas to make that deal for months until we got Kulikov, he played chicken and he lost, and now there's no one left to take any of the cap he needs to clear without eye gouging prices.

I don't think there's anyone who picks up Kerfoot, Holl, or Muzzin off waivers, so you are trapped with those contracts at this point.

No Ducks fan said that, ever. To my knowledge, we Ducks fans know you won't pay even one first to move Muzzin -- it makes no sense. But that won't stop a certain unrealistic and/or unknowledgeable segment of the Toronto fanbase from continually suggesting that Anaheim, or some other non-contending patsy, would pay the equivalent of a second for him.

It's $5.6 million for 2 years of a player who was injured for a sizable portion of last season. It won't take 5 1sts, but it's unlikely Muzzin gets traded for any significant asset going back to Toronto.

Clearly he was being ridiculous to point out the ridiculous. Thinking anyone gives up assets at this point for Muzzin is just that ridiculous.
