I don't hate the idea of Holl going to Detroit since Pysyk is likely out for the year, but not at that cost. Not helping Toronto with their cap for nothing.
Trading a guy with a brain tumour is classless. So obviously Arizona wouldn't accept that.
Why is Liljgren on LTIR?

Jakob Chychrun @ $2,300,000 would cost a hell of a lot more than that offer by a country mile.

Detroit has zero need for justin Holl, And besides his worth is no more than a 6th round pick at best.

Wings don't need any more D. They have about 20 of them right now.

Amirov just finished (or is close to finishing) his last round of chemo. But you're right, TOR isn't going to trade him regardless.

I would take him to replace what Pysyk would have been, but obviously not at that cost.

Wings have Hagg, Edvinnson, Oesterle who can all play the left side and Pysyk and Walman coming back from IR. Too many D. smile

Edvinsson will probably play in GR. Oesterle, Hagg like you said play the left side. Pysyk from what I heard earliest of things go perfect is November but more realistically January to maybe even February. Walman should be back November to December. But he plays the left side and Hagg and Oesterle aren't great great options. Holl would give us a good option for the right side until Pysyk returns and would provide some insurance if an injury would occur. He could be traded later if need be, likely for more than we would have to give up as teams would have injuries and some extra cap space. Either way adding a depth defenceman on the cheap wouldn't be a bad idea.

Chiarot - Seider
Maata - Hronek
Walman(IR)/Edvinsson/Johansson/Oesterle/Haag - Lindstrom/Pysyk(IR)

Lindstrom gets the nod. One of those bottom 4 LD will get a shot to play the right side if another injury occurs before moving a third round pick. Not to mention Newpower and Barton are 24 and 23 RD on the Griffins who could get a shot to see if they are capable of being NHL depth pieces.

And if we need some emergency LHD call up there's always Lashoff.

Lash the legend?! At this point his new name should be Brian Griffin Lashoff.
