You realize that Batherson is most likely a PPG winger for less than 5.0 AAV for the next 5 years? This is extremely valuable in a tight cap era

If Batherson was available, the offers would be ridiculous because of that

There is a risk that he won't end up as a PPG winger and that would be because of injuries or that HC scandal (if involved) but he certainly has the talent to do it, and he is surrounded by several good players
