Muzzin before the third period looked alright heck almost got a breakaway goal. But then he coughed it up in the third

Anyways when Liligren returns Holls gone and we will never need to see that pairing


I agree with what you are pointing out about Rielly but the part I disagree with you is partnering Rielly and Holl. If Holl can't handle second pairing minutes, he's definitely going to struggle with first pairing minutes.

I don't have an answer on D right now but because of how game 1 looked from a D perspective, this is why I was dreading the goaltending.

It is only one game... but it was also Montreal. Need a better overall effort.

No question this team needs to play better defensively but god damn I wish they had a legit #1.

Really hope one of Murray or Samsonov can be that guy but it’s tough to see. Some real weakness in there game.

Nice comeback win, great to see Samsonov rebound after letting this one in. Made some nice timely stops near the end.





PK units were awesome, Muzzin being physical, and Jarnkrok was flying out there. Nice win

Much better performance

Sammy looked good and yes he did allow that one bad goal but still great revenge story

After the first goal we relaxed a bit to much but after Washington was leading I liked the response

And as for Holl such a polarizing player

Still good to see our 4th line start to find their groove along with our 3rd line

The effort was alot better against Washington. They will need to improve on this effort on Saturday or the Sens will find a way to get the W.

Definitely not ideal, hope this is nothing. Possible no backup tonight if he can’t go, if this is a worst case scenario situation, Woll is hurt, Kallgren got hurt yesterday, Ferguson is just on a PTO, and Petruzzelli is on an AHL deal.

McKay is back and assigned to the Growlers, but like Ferguson does not have an ELC.
