Ducks decline with prejudice, that's and insulting offer for Gibson and a retained Henrique for two seasons.

Nylander and a third + scraps/cap dumps don't buy you those guys.

U aren’t giving up enough in either deal
Especially the Pk88 one
A late 1st & 3rd and an “ok” young-ish defenseman just doesn’t get it done- especially with them retaining half
Keep dreaming

Why are we trading Nylander for nothing?

As a Leafs fan, I'm not trading Nylander for that return.

Nylander for less than two seasons, an LTIR zombie and two rentals for two NHLers -- a starting goaltender for four seasons plus and an improvement on Engvall with an extra season -- is a joke.

Why are people so fascinated with Kane? The guy is a great player but not what the leafs need. Sure, he has 2 cup rings but had guys getting him the puck in the corners and standing in front of the net, those are the guys the leafs need.

Starting goaltender that has declined since 2019 & currently sits below 900 Save % & a 19 goal scorer. If you're trading Nylander, you're doing it for a much better return than this & not just using him to dump cap.

Possibly even worse than the current Leafs defense

When you get more experience, and thus more insight, you'll understand why John Gibson's figures aren't comparable to Andrei Vassilevskiy's.
