Leafs should inquire but I doubt Tampa wants to help a divisional rival

Montreal could do say Dadonov (retained) + 3rd maybe for Foote (if you need to send cap back we can remove the 3rd and add a 4th from the Habs)

They have no reasons to fear us. We aren’t the same team as last year lol. I’d do malgin for Foote

Would Tampa be interested in a Hoglander or Rathbone for Foote swap?

Yeah makes total sense to trade a young RD, For a 33 year old pending UFA #3C in Eller.

Lol, that's who came to mind for me (although I don't mind him) but they will want someone with team control.

The post asked for a middle 6 forward ... I would also think that being a pending UFA would help Tampa with their cap situation.

Myers has been FAR WORSE !!!!! Myers SUCKS !!!! There is a reason Foote is averaging 6+ more minutes ice time than Myers.
When the coach who works closest with the Defenseman Coach Zettler says "We got a lot of work to do." When asked about Myers says a LOT!!

Yeah, Ducks are interested in a RD with Drysdale out for the season. Boston or Colorado 2023 2nd of interest? What does Tampa need?

A 2nd is probably an overpay at this point, but I'm not JBB, so idk what he thinks. I would fs take a 2nd tho

I would happily pay you a Colorado 2nd in 23, and I would not complain if Boston's 2nd was the request.

Foote isn't likely to be moved. He's looked considerably better than Myers, who has easily been the worst dman every time he's been out there. Unless Foote is pricing himself out, which seems unlikely, he shouldn't be traded.
