Hokay so, moving EJ does neither of the things you said. Byram is a lefty and EJ plays the right, also EJ's money is already allocated to Mack's extention.

Most importantly, Avs have a great culture, they don't need to bring in someone going to prison for r**e

EJ is definitely not keeping Byram from "playing up" in the lineup.
Avs aren't paying a 2nd for a guy your own team won't sign when they could just toss a no compensation offer sheet his way.
