I wouldn't give you a 7th round pick for Drouin, much less a 3rd and 5th.

Why would a UFA resign with his current team to be traded that day and not just go into free agency to talk with all teams.

As @Warrior24 points out, Drouin is a free agent. If Los Angeles wanted him, they could sign him for $4 million themselves. If he didn't want to sign with them, why would the Kings trade for him?

and no point in spending a ton when next year will be another bad year. plus Vlasic has played well so far this year. maybe in 24 off season we buy him out or deal him when he only has 2 years left.

Armia is as bad a cap dump as Vlasic. Vlasic has been better and if a buyout is required the sharks will just do it themselves
