.....No we dont. We have Savard Kovacevic and Wideman, Barron in the AHL, extra LD who we need spots for who play RD, and a boatload of D prospects in the junior ranks.

The ony way we would want a RD is if a bonafide top pair guy became available. Jokiharju isnt even a material upgrade on what we currently have

Jokiharju isn’t enough of an upgrade over what we currently have to justify the cost of “pretty close” to a high second in a stacked draft.

We don't need a RHD, if by next season mailloux and barron didn't take the next step in their development than we'll need a top 4 young RHD, the guy you offering doesn't play 20 minutes a night

We dont really though, if we were making a push sure, but at this rate we can play a vet on his offside if we need too, i think they are pretty comfortable with the d as is. If theres injuries Barron will be called up, habs are going to keep their futures.

This issue right now is that there's just isn't enough talent which rebuilding won't fix

Yeah, Canes have no interest in Olofsson. His cap hit is too high to be worth the assets, including the other pieces they'd have to move out to fit him under. He's not good enough to justify it
