I may be off on the Dvorak/Garland value.. im not sure how much boston NEEDS Bo but its not like they wouldn't like him. Lysell didnt have a super hot year but maybe that 1st is a 2nd i dk. just gonna eat the myers deal for another year dont want to retain after the OEL buyout. Theyll pick in the top 8 or so and get maybe like Yager or Cam Allen, thanks for coming

That is not "smart" rebuilding. Garland > Dvorak. Pearson isn't a cap dump, Canucks aren't paying to move him, and Kuzmenko is worth more than that

Boston wouldn't trade Lysell last year when they were looking for center, so why would they now when they don't need a center this season? They also don't have the cap space to fit Horvat in.

Btw Lysell is playing a lot a p/gp right now in his first year of AHL hockey. The year before he was the Giants best player with 62pt in 53gp. Not really sure what you mean by "Lysell didnt have a super hot year"

dvorak is very underrated. these are fair values, but i definitely dont agree with signing AA for that much especially. overall the trades are pretty decent and mostly in the other teams favor, you probably can get more. dumba probably gets a little less. my personal changes to the trades

add some mid boston assets to the horvat trade, like a third or B-C level prospect
make garland for dvorak 1-1
kuzmenko can probably get a second and a B level prospect
dont listen to nucks fans pearson is a dump

you did a pretty good job

The chicago, Montreal, and Carolina deals are all garbage for Vancouver

Bruins have no need for horvat this year. No interest, and definitely no interest in that offer.

I think the whole Lysell didnt have a great year is just that 62 in 53 in the W is not like world beating numbers. I think that year though is tricky, he started the year off prettly slow but dominated the 2nd half of it and the playoffs he was producing way more with a worse team after the deadline. I think people just look at the numbers and dont look at the context.

Biggest problem is that there's not a lot of B prospects in the B's pipeline. Mayyyybe Mason Lohrei?

Boston probably plays simpler at the deadline this year - they've come out of the gates strong enough to judiciously coast and keep their older core fresh for the playoffs. I think if they make moves they're going to be more about bringing in strong depth than adding top line/top pair type guys.

Could be. I think many overlook that it was his first year in NA hockey playing on smaller rink too.
