Like the Players, but Flames say no.

When was the last time a Team sent TWO 1st Round Picks in a Trade!?

Timos too expensive/unaffordable long term and there are better rentals "available". I like the idea of Timo in Calgary but there's no way it works out beyond this year.

Maybe a 2023-1st RD Pick + 2nd RD Pick + Mangiapane FOR Kunin and Meier 50% retained IF he comes on a Sign & Trade Deal for $8mil/yr

I think I’d prefer Bo Horvat over Meier though

CGY can't trade their 2024 1st yet. There's a condition attached to the 2025 1st they sent to MTL on the Monahan trade.

yeah that's franchise player return right there, Timo isn't a franchise player, very very good though. . Plus, I think if there is a redraft you find Coronato ends up going in a far more valuable spot. I also think San Jose is pretty committed to moving him so I think it is far more than the flames would hahe to give up, and definitely far more than they would be willing. Plus there will be an issue dealing with Salaries next year. Isn't his QA $10M? Could be wrong. Not sure if SJ goes for it, but I wouldn't do more than Dube, 1st 2024, Prospect that is not Wolf, Zary, Porier or Coronoto (4 with highest ceiling). Prefer not Pelletier, but would understand if it was.
