Demko trade would be assuming he continues to stink this year. Vancouver trades an underperformer to save money, while buffalo gets a high risk high reward guy they can afford

that 4LW spot would be a competition between Rousek, Rosen, Weissbach, Savoie, Kulich

    - you can argue Killorn gets more but imo hes looking at neiderriders market. he has his cups and money and takes the best deal he can get.

    - i dont think Olofsson fits long term. the team that i traded him to doesnt really matter, but i think thats about the return he will get

Adams won't trade for Demko and I doubt he'll trade #11 in this draft for Konecny, who is two years away from the UFA. Savoie will be in the team next season, Kulich and Rosen are having a good season in Rochester.

I would add a top 4 RD in defense and maybe a LD in the third line, especially if Johnson doesn't sign.

Top 4 RDs: Zub, Mayfield, Clifton, Jensen, Severson

Not too much in attack, we need a player like Jeannot type and that's it. Youth from Rochester such as Rousek, Weissbach, Cederqvist and others will prop Girgensons and Okposo.

    Skinner - Thompson - Tuch
    Quinn - Cozens - Peterka
    Jeannot - Savoie - Kulich/Rosen
    Asplund - Girgensons - Okposo

    Samuelsson - Dahlin
    Power - Zub/Mayfield/Clifton/Severson/Jensen
    Johnson/Bryson/xxxx - Boosh

    UPL
    Comrie
    Levi

If UPL and Comrie look absolutely terrible this season, maybe he will trade one of them in the summer and find a reliable veteran for 1-2 years.

Devils have enough wingers. I could mainly see them go after a LHD with a yr beyond this one left that has playoff experience and on the shutdown side.

Scoring depth is never a bad thing, but I'm not sure exactly where Olafsson would fit in with the Devils, especially once Palat comes back. However I do not think this scenario is out of the question. Seems very reasonable honestly.

If you’d read the notes, I said this would be if he continued to suck this year (which I doubt, but in that scenario I don’t see why he would have value)

You could argue buffalo could send something like a 5th but Vancouver dumping Demko if he continues at this pace would not be out of the question

It's hilarious that you're saying all this garbage after he just stopped 37 of 38 like 9 hours ago

Because let's ignore he looked alot better tonight, 11 games doesn't kill someone's value, even if he played like **** all year he is going to have some value, look at what cambell got in terms of a contract the canucks could EASILY get a 2nd for Demko even in a down year

Not that this trade makes any sense, but we did just have a team trade a vezina winning goalie for free recently.

Completely different circumstances, goalie market has also blown up since that trade

I know its different circumstances just sayin

I don't think the goalie trade market has really blown up. Goalies never get big returns.

I mean you can see it in the contracts that have been handed out this last offseason as proof, Cambell got a 5x5 while (outside of a month of play) putting up back up numbers
