I wouldn't be surprised if that Horvat offer gets beat, but it's not terrible by any means. Just so you know, Suter would only be regarded by the Canucks as a cap dump since they could technically just look to bid for his services on the open market if they're interested in him(and I'm sure they would be), so acquiring his UFA rights doesn't hold that much value for the Nucks. Plus the Wings don't really have to send money back, especially if the Canucks retain 50% of Bo's salary.

CBJ pass. Don’t want to invest the kind of money necessary to keep Bertuzzi at this point in our rebuild. Not to mention, last thing we need is more wings.

I was screaming at the tv to draft del bel belluz so I'm all for him but the trades don't make a ton of sense. Sj and Columbus aren't paying for guys who are ufa to be. Reimer is probably better than Ned anyways. Horvat could make sense for us but we haven't even signed Larkin so having 2 ufa centers seems less than ideal.
