A second may have been a bit much, but that third line needs to get some offensive upside.

Domi would likely add 10-20% more offence and get scored on 50-75% more. He's a defensive liability, isn't physical and can't drive his own line. He's a bad player.

He's a homer as we know.

A late 2nd with Domi 1/2 retained is about market value at the TDL for him the way he's playing this year and I'm betting there will be a handful of teams willing to do that. Assuming as such, not a chance the Hawks do the Leafs a favor though and take Kerfoot on as well...he's a cap dump to the Hawks and that costs something.

Totally untrue at this point...try watching the Hawks games and tell me he sucks defensively and isn't physical. He plays 200 ft of ice, not a defensive stallworth but fine, and is scrappy physically. Just a bad take

I'll wait for JFresh to release his card before making a final judgement 😂

Good call!

But case and point how biased the other poster is, he claims Domi will only bring 10% to 20% more offense yet Domi, on a way worse team and worse line then Kerfoot, has 14 points in 21 games (5 goals) vs Kerfoot's 8 points in 24 games (1 goal)!

That's WAY more then 10% to 20%....that's called almost 250% plus more offense! Take whatever his opinions are with a GIANT grain of salt laugh

Seems pretty reasonable for Tarasenko, but who k owns what will happen at this point. The Robertson/Kyrou bowls with the stars would be fun that for sure.

It all depends on where St. Louis is at the deadline of course.

So can you guys just decide one and for all if you're good or bad? 😛

He didn't want to sign in Toronto so why trade for him?

Reports are Toronto had interest, but weren't willing to match Chicago's offer.

Without retention maybe (Robertson is not convincing, and that's even before we discuss all the injuries he's already had). Certainly not with it.

Someone reported that Chicago was offering more money, and a chance to be a lock in the top 6

Yeah I’m not convinced by him either, but I’m a little skeptical Tarasenko gets an awesome return. First round pick for sure, but maybe not much else.

Yes I would love that too. Based on what I’ve seen from them this season I’m quietly hoping that they keep losing and do what is right for the future.

You think he gets less than Chiarot and Savard? Less than Foligno? I simply can't understand how so many people think he's some bargain bin pickup.

No I think he’ll get basically the same as those guys. Good rentals basically all get about the same value it seems like. More or less. I think Robertson would be a fun guy to give legit minutes too and see what is there.

Except those are not good rentals. Chiarot was straight trash. Foligno was thoroughly meh and Savard played all of 14 3rd pairing minutes per night on that Cup run. There are far funner guys out there to plug into the line-up than Robertson.

Also I’m not sure how important this is, but Savard and Foligno were traded in 2021. Easy to imagine 2021 picks were valued much less than 2023 picks will be.

I mean I’m hoping we can get a great return for 91 if we have to trade him, but I’m not exactly sure what you’re expecting. I think if any rental gets a great return it will be ROR
