I love Sandin, but for a third pair guy that's unnecessary. Bahl is more than adequate, and we have plenty of left handed prospects. That said, if for some reason we had to let Yegor go, this roster is great. Use that cap space to sign a backup for a year or two so Schmid can finish his development.

I wouldn't do that Sandin deal.
Bahl is totally fine to play 3LHD, he's more than ready for such a role already (I love Sandin though and I think that they should've offersheeted him this summer instead of signing Brendan Smith).
Similarly I don't think Tatar would sign for neither that term nor AAV for what could be his last NHL contract.
Tatar is playing fantastic hockey right now but given that he's starting to get up there in age there's a significant risk that this is his last year performing as a top 6 wing.
Therefore it'd probably be better to swap Tatar out for Sharangovich for next season's roster.

Sandin plays like he a Kronwall, can move the puck and throws nasty open-ice hits
