I cant believe i am even pondering this idea.

I'm operating on the hypothetical that Trouba's wife cant leave NYC as the Doctor. Now there are a few teams close to NYC that trouba could go to but man it feels almost sac-religious considering these. Either NJD or NYI. I think i have an easier time sending our Captain to NJD than the Island.

Honestly i dont know what to do with this guy. its either a buy out or something crazy.

This is the crazy option.

-Emberson played with Key in Wisconsin so im giving him a shot prior to the TDL.
-Goodrow is a solid depth player who only holds SOME value on a true contender (Cal, AVs, um.....)
-I like the 3rd line here but i dont think Trock is a 3c. Poor guy... and poor contract.

not thinking too much further into the future so keep the extra cash for a rainy day.

Imo Boston would be a good fit 4hrs away from nyc and trouba fits the big bad bruins play style

Trouba has a full NMC for this season and next season then a 15 team in 2024-25 and 12 teams in 25-26. Rangers are stuck with their "cApTaIn" for at least another year. Even if he didn't have any trade protection a 2nd rounder a year from now for a 8 mill defender for 3 more years is hilarious. It took a 2nd and a conditional 2nd/3rd to get rid of Patrick Nemeth.
