This is so horrible, we have no need for Bo or Brock. Furthermore, Hextall will not trade 1st round picks and our best goalie prospect which is a wise decision. Poulin is one of our best prospects, you can acquire Domi with a second-round pick and Heinen is a great depth player.

Can I interest you in one slightly used by two previous owners, Mathieu Joseph?

Let's make it the 2023 2nd rounder for Domi half retained and leave Poulin out of the deal. Let him deal with whatever he needs to deal with.

I like the idea to fix the third line, but I think Bo Horvat and Boser is a little much. I'd stick to players we can get with 2nds and 3rds. Domi, Anthanasiou, Olafsson, Duclair, Motte, guys like that.

I love Heinen but needed to get rid of the money and he was really the only moveable piece.

I know Hextall would never do this, it was more what I would do.

I had someone say I didn't give enough for domi on a precious roster, I might have over shot here your right. But if I'm GM right now I am ok giving up Poulin because this here is by far a cup team

who does Dumo replace at LD for Toronto? Sandin has been a stud, Gio as well, and he's not overtaking Rielly. Poor use of $4M for Toronto.

Preferably a bottom six forward swap but we get the cheaper player. The trade would probably happen in the offseason though because with Ottawa's injuries they need him.

I'm all in on bringing in a new 3rd line center, but that is a lot of value going towards a player who will be testing free agency in Bo and an overpaid scoring winger who is struggling to in every other aspect of his game.

I can't figure out why these Dumo trades keep happening. He's not getting traded, guys. Give it up.

Out of curiosity, what’s the deal with Nylander? Why is he stuck in AHL?

I don't think it's really anything specific - there's just no room for him. He's probably like 4th in line to come up from the AHL for forwards, if that. Archibald and Poehling have been pleasant surprises which has really closed the door on any AHL guys getting called up - except for injuries

Not with his current contract. Pens should be looking for a true 3rd line center.

I honesty did not think about left and right for you guys at all. Your right, I was just thinking you need a D man and don't have much to give for it but yea, it needs to be a right D man

we don't even need a dman. Holl has been very good (leads the D in TOI after Rielly), Brodie plays the right, and Liljegren has also been exceptional. If we're spending cap/assets it'll probably be for depth scoring
