Why would you want to set the defense 5 years back? For an extra C?

Rielly is not expendable not this year and not in 2-years time.

Great Leafs get worse and more expensive at RHD with the exchange of Holl and Myers. So you've trade Reilly for UFA Horvat. Delusional.
Besides, despite being a Vancouver native, I doubt if Reilly would wave his NMC to play for the Canucks.
