Why would you want Archibald he's a UFA? And I don't think we'll get rid of him, 1. We should not touch our 4th line at all, 2. he's been an amazing penalty killer for us and we will need him considering we're probably gonna start scratching Carter after the dead line so we would end up with Blueger and Archibuald then pheoling and domi. For us to clear cap we'd be more likely to give someone else Danton Heinen.

Seattle seems like a great landing spot for toews if he'd waive and extend there. I don't think seattle should be buyers just yet but if that's the route they go toews is a perfect target. The return seems pretty light if the hawks have to take back wenneberg.

Why would the pens start scratching Carter after the deadline?

Because we’ll likely get someone better he’s been playing terrible. We would dump him if we could but nmc

So are you apart of the team or management to know that? In what ways is he playing terrible? The team is on a 7 game win streak. I mean he’s not playing great and needs to be better, but he’s not terrible either. I mean he hasn’t had the greatest support on line mates either. His best line mate this year is McGinn and that’s not good. Heinen and Kapanen have been bigger disappointments and while Kappy was great for a few games after coming back and hasn’t been terrible since, the team needs more from him. Especially scoring wise. Same with Heinen. I’d be willing to bet Heinen and/or Kap ride the pine or find a new team before Carter does.

I don’t need to be apart of the team to know he’s playing terrible. I have eyes. If u meant am i on the team to knoe we’re gonna scratch him, no, its called “speculation” just like everything on this app is. And if u gad eyes ud know Carter was 100% the problem. We will likely trade or waive kappy unless he turns it around. Oh, and Mcginn who’s “not good” has 13 points.

No if you had eyes and understood what’s happening you’d realize he isn’t 100% of the problem and isn’t playing terribly. And yeah McGinn has 13 points. Guess what player on that line has more and leads the 3rd line in points? Oh yeah, Jeff Carter. He also has less games played than McGinn. So if McGinn isn’t playing terrible, then I guess that proves Carter isn’t playing that terrible either.
