I think they should address their center problem before acquiring winger and defencemen.

They currently have exactly one top six center on their team.

Canucks can probably get a 2023 3rd for him rather than 2025, maybe a 2nd

Newhook has looked good and when Landy gets healthy, he will be fine at 2c. The center options have been posted to death so I thought I'd post a different look. As for the defense, you can never have enough nhl ready to go guys in the playoffs.

I think the Canucks would be looking for a 2nd, they might settle on a 3rd, however the pick would have to be this year

Jackets would just keep Nyquist if that's the return at 50% retained.

The retention means nothing to CBJ. There aren't many possible trades with retention needed this tdl and Goose is a pending ufa in year the Jackets are closer to Bedard than Stanley. Also your gm would love his Rambo Santa.

Why would he love a 22 year-old pending RFA LW with a career 0-0-0 line in 17 NHL games and middling AHL numbers? Because he’s Finnish?

If Gus is moved, CBJ want real futures. Not AHL depth.

Picks. Not a 22-year-old winger prospect that's going nowhere. If you want Nyquist, give picks so we can address our actual prospect pool needs.
