May be your ideal, but you have to think someone beats this as why would the Blackhawks give up a better pick here just for a good yet unproven prospect?

Someone just giving up their 1st for Kane 1 for 1 is better for CHI.

I mean, I understand the Rangers going for Kane, just as I understand Meier, but I also understand fans not wanting to spend so much on them. Kane and Bread are friends, just as Meier and Nico are friends, so it's all "where they is smoke"...

Josh Anderson just stinks on ice and I wouldn't want him for a dirty diaper.

I agree I don't think they should get Kane, but I got it when the Rangers couldn't finish if they went for a shiny prize. Meier wouldn't fit the Rangers budget for term though as they could be very short on cap room.

yeah actually that would be bad plan. But I would prefer that to getting Kane. That is how bad plan I think that is.
