ROR will secure the bag like Kadri did, even if he hasn’t an incredible season, someone will give him money & terms

You made a slight mistake. The 1st should be the Flames 1st and it should be going to the Avs to take that brittle cap dump

Haven't watched the Habs this year I see, can't blame you there but just to fix your slight mistake, Monohan has value. Welcome to the new hockey season

With the way Barrie has been playing lately, I doubt the oilers trade him

Monahan has value, but not first round value.

He’ll also have to stay healthy to get traded. Currently on IR. For a player whose primary issue has been his health, another injury after 2 months probably doesn’t help his value.

ROR isn't taking no one year deal, And he sure as hell isn't signing with Montreal.

This ^. If Habs fans want to shoot for the moon with a first in these acgms, ok I guess. I'd like to see some conditions specified though, such as minimum number of games played or something like that. I don't think a team takes that big of a gamble with a player that is unfortunately injury prone.

I have and I live in an area full of their fans. Mona is often injured and can't keep up to the Avs pace. Less than 6 months ago he was dumped with a 1st and he is now injured again. How does that warrant a 1st going to the Habs?

Sure and that's still an easy no for the Avs.

I don't think he is worth a first, he isn't a cap dump though. His hip is healed after being the main source of injuries and he is back to playing at a 40-50 point pace. With retention he is a versatile center with an AAV under $4 million, he will have value at the TDL.

    he is back to playing.

He is back on the IR is what he is. He will need to return right away and play every game until the tdl for any team to put a value on him. If he was healthy, it would be a different convo.
