Hard no from CBJ, we NEED defense, we won't be trading away our best RD prospect and one who will probs make the team next year. Not even mentioning a top 5 pick in a loaded draft. Way too much to give up

If DeBrincat wouldn't sign this would be a homerun. Jiricek was drafted ahead of the pick Ottawa gave up to get Cat to begin with, and it's a 2023 1st from one of the worst teams in the league.

Columbus is a team needing to rebuild, this is a horrific deal for them. Would you have traded Sanderson and their 2021 1st in the middle of the Canadian Division season? Because that's basically the ask here.

What exactly do you think Debrincat is worth beyond a future 1RD and an almost guaranteed top 5 pick in the Bedard draft? There's no chance the Jackets would offer this much for another winger let alone even more.

Wow...jackets decline instantly.

Debrincat would be a target for a contender if he's available..not a bottom 3 team in the league. We aren't moving our best prospect who will be on the team next year, and probably a top 3 pick....c'mon man...
