Parise impresses me.

I thought when the Wild bought him out that his career path would look like James Neal or Bobby Ryan.

He is the hardest working guy on the team. He hasn’t taken a shift off in 2 years. Love me some Parise

Horvat would be a real nice rental, but a career shooting % in a contract year where he’s gonna demand $9m? When we have enough centers? I just don’t think it’s good business. We would need them to take back a Bailey or something and that’ll only drive the cost of the trade up more

outside of the 1st the package has zero interest to Vancouver, this is barley more than what Foligno got, there is zero reason for Vancouver to do this

Hovat should go to the Habs, they have cap space, thanks to Price's retirement and the Habs have been looking for a star center ever since Koivu left.

Suzuki is great, Bedard would be awesome, but Hovat could fit in there.

It just amazes me both Parise and Suter after the Wild buyouts will earn MORE cash than if the buyouts never happened.

That's so rare.

Bolduc doesn’t do much for the Canucks. We already have too many LHD. With the way Horvat is playing, he at minimu gets the Giroux return, probably more, since he’s producing better offensively and can’t hold out to go to one team

Kuzmenko is the guy they should target. Not Horvat imo.

I just don’t think it makes sense for a rebuilding Habs team to give up the necessary assets for Horvat, and I doubt he’d sign with them as a FA if they don’t trade for him

Kuzmenko will get over paid in UFA, probably a Mikheyev size contract ($4-$5 million).

Yea, I probably should have just said the Habs should go for Hovat only in UFA, not trade,

You think $4-5 million is overpaid?

Puis Suter was the last undrafted one year wonder to cash out in UFA. Got $3.25 from Det after leaving Chi.

So there's your cautionary tale.

I guess Barbanov can be classified as one too, 1 full season contract with the Leafs then cashes in @ $2.5 with SJS, though that deal looks great.

Ok... but Pius Suter not really comparable player. Kuzmenko has already put up as many goals as Suter has in a full season. Kuz also tore up the KHL, a way better league than the Swiss A - so has the history of being a top end player.

That package for Bo sucks, but that was such a terrible game IDC. Sure trade him for W/E.

Kuzmenko is built different. Dude plays like a true first line winger.

Miller is worth more to the canucks then what the offers where, the canucks arent going to make a trade just to make a trade, has to benfit both teams otherwise we can keep the player
