    Wonder what the other first round teams "exit" and the 16 non playoff teams do.
    Washington doesn't do the trade and neither does Tavares.

    Riddle me this batman, why would the Caps downgrade at wing and pay extra picks and a cost controlled center for an 3rd expensive center to go along with Kuznetsov (7.8 mil) and Backstrom (9.2 mil), when they can resign Strome to the same amount, keep a deeper roster, and use the picks to upgrade other areas of the team?
