I can handle the boring jersey, but the word mark is terrible.

They could have even used their existing badge from before and kept the minimalist boring look, and it would still be ten times better.

He would have been a nice add for the third line but there was I think a report from years ago (before he was with the Wild) saying he didnt want to go to Canada. Maybe things changes now I have 0 idea will need to check.

But yea for that price and for what he could do wouldnt mind him for our bottom 6 cause I feel Toronto will make 1 big move for the top 6 LW and 2 smaller moves to boost the bottom 6.

He could get 20G's in '22/23.

But yeah - what's not to like about hockey mad TO//WPG right now (re: playoffs) + MTL as a mecca for playing............

14 times to close out the season. They must love it.

The edging is fine, but I don't love it. Atleast it is better than their "first" third-jersey (though the reverse retro version is much improved). Word mark is boring, font or no.

Literally any of the alternate logos they have ever used would have been better than the word mark. Even the prancing fox and lizard.

kent hughes had his mid-season press conference today, he said he doesn't want to be transparent with the contract
however he said that he wants cole to be in MTL long term and he thinks that cole wants to be in MTL long term
personally i believe that if thats the situation then an 8x8 deal is best for cole if boldy got 7x7

He's a RFA for MTL until 2028. Long term could be a 3 or 4 years contract around 7M, then a 8 years contract north of 10M.

Makes sense to bridge.
However as per CF MTL in '23-24 w/ CC signed (lets say $7.5MIL) MTL will = 17 contracts & US$80MIL CAP expended... plus/minus some bonuses?
