Yeah right, Detroit gives up a 6'8" Elmer Soderblom for a 5'9" Torey Krug. I guess you missed the memo where Yzerman only goes for tall rugged Dmen and Krug doesn't fit that mold.

Doubt O'Reilly will command this kind of price. He was having a really bad season. His defensive stats have been awful. Maybe he could have turned it around but now he's injured with a broken foot right up until the deadline which he might not even be able to show his recovery from before being traded. He's a majorly compromised asset right now.

The time to sell Barbashev for a prospect like Schaefer was last summer. He's another passenger which the Oilers have enough of.
