Also that Toronto deal is gonna get you flamed. JVR is worth like a 5th, Provorov worth the rest without the two firsts. Like maybe Robertson+2nd+Muzzin but with the retention. Mayyyybe two 2nds

Yes, you are right that no chance Jersey includes Nemec. But No they would absolutely do that trade if you just remove Nemec, he is definitely worth a 1st and 2nd.
JVR at 50% retention as a rental could very easily return a 2nd by himself.
Provorov has value, especially at 50% retention, give him a decent partner and he's a very good top 4 defenseman

Provorov with 50% retention = first plus
JVR with 50% retention = third
Konecny = 2023 first and 2024 second (both back half of the round)

Leafs don't have the cap or need Provorov for two years.....Reilly, Sandin and Giordano are the LHD this year and next.
Now you could argue it's a fair trade, if Muzzin returns from LTIR and the Leafs need to get rid of his cap (next season) then in that case, I don't Muzzin waives for Flyers.

Provorov might have value for the some team needed a LHD....but it's not the Leafs
JVR will be intriguing for some team at TDL...not sure if it's the Leafs though
