that philly trade is horrible for mtl. the rest dont get accepted by the other teams. Also cant trade a 2023 pick after the draft, and even if the jets would take that deal habs arent going to give up that many future pieces for a player they can bid on in free agency the following offseason, if they miss out on him thats perfectly fine.

The firsts would get Montreal's foot in the door although it probably needs to be Florida's 23 1st, but Kidney and/or Harris may need to be replaced with a better prospect or someone Winnipeg needs.

They'd likely take an offer that fills needs for the team instead of a couple late firsts and unneeded players. Especially if you want them to wait 3 drafts for one of the firsts.

A first and good prospect is just to get you listened to, it won't be hard moving a young 1C for the Jets if they need to.
