Description

Pacioretty has already expressed interest in an extention. We sign him to a 1-2 year deal. We trade for Kuzmenko (who makes way more sense for the canes to trade a 1st for than horvat) at the 2023 tdl and extend him to a long term deal to replace Patches once that deal is up. And as much as i would like to get Mccabe at the tdl, the money doesn't work without retention, which would be expensive due to the term on Mccabe's contract.

mccabe has been good so that price is well light.

I dont think we can afford all of those TDL deals even though we dont need Ghost.

Hawks decline. Another left shot D prospect is the last thing Hawks need. Lajoie would have at least 6 guys ahead of him Hawks like better. Drop him and add a F prospect like Gunler or Drury.

That's a really chancy long term deal for Kuzmenko. Don't think any team would offer as much. McCabe is nice but there are lots of LHD available .
