Description

Premise is that if we somehow land Bedard. Can convince Toews and Kane to come to MTL for a cup run in an original six city. Neither have ever played in Canada. Which is something all great players, and HoFers probably want to do at some point. If we don't get Bedard I don't see a chance at this. But that is idea.

If you want to trade you should also have the respect to look at the other teams' roosters and gms first. Hextall isn't trading Pittsburgh first round furthermore we struggle with too many d man, so why would we trade for another one? Post with no purpose.

You're at least $2,000,000 short on Kane, Pastrnak and Toews.

The Chychrun and PLD trades are nowhere close to reality.

If any player nearing the end of their career wants to try and win a cup in Canada (for some ridiculous reason) next season they'd choose Toronto, Winnipeg, or Edmonton. Even this fantasy team you put together doesn't have a starting goalie.

Gonna say Winnipeg passes on this deal since they are in the hunt for a cup this year and PLD is leading the charge. In the summer a deal might come tor fruition but the package will be much more futures oriented or have a more impactful player than Dvorak attached to it.

Neither has played in Canada? I'm sure Toews played some hockey as you born and raised in Manitoba. Kane played junior with London.
Forget the original six nonsense, if anything Toews would probably like to bring Winnipeg their first Stanley Cup, and Kane Buffalo's first.
