I wonder if VAN would want Rasmussen since JR said they want to target players coming off their ELC that havent quiet panned out. Also a BC kid.

I did offer Michael Rasmussen+William Wallinder+2023 2nd round pick+2024 1st round pick for an extended Bo Horvat at 8 years $8,500,000 that's a pretty fair offer. Wallinder can play both LD/RD and is actually very strong at RD which is what JR wants.

I think vancouver might actually take that trade. As much as the fans want a complete rebuild, Rutherford wants to keep building this team to make the playoffs. That's his goal, the playoffs one time, not a consistent cup contender.

I think if its a sign and trade that turns into more of a hockey deal and theyll want Hronek as the main piece. Again, not what i would do but thats what they are choreographing as their asked. Hronek, Rass and this years second something like that if i was in JRs head?

I think personally its moronic to deal for a pending ufa. if yzerman has an idea he wants to come you save all your assets and wait . Also getting him now does nothing to get in the playoffs(were missing them) and also hurts your chances as slim as they may be at a lottery pick. Its a no brainer really

And if we lose out on horvat and he signs elsewhere oh well, guess he was never interested in the first place. Concentrate on larkin or get another replacement and im sure kasper will be with the team next season

Wings have absolutely no interest in trading good young assets for a crazy sign and trade. Wings just spend the alleged Horvat cap on Horvat as UFA or other player(s)

This is another horrible trade Detroit would never do. Where is this coming from. We are not a contender and we are not going to blow our future for an older rental, even if he is signed.
