Description

The Bruins dont have many years of Bergeron+ Marchand dominance left, plus Pastrnak's future is a question mark. They must go all in and get another cup.

Canucks rumoured asking prce on Bo is 3 players, which includes a great young player (Lysell), Frederic is a good young energy/physicallity guy. Management will love him. Could add another pick coming back to VAN, I wouldnt mind

Package for Horvat is mainly Lysell +1st, Frederic is a good throw in. Reilly is a salary filler

Dump Forbort, McCabe is a massive upgrade, plus cheaper

That "3rd line" is a high end 2nd line. Nobody is beating this team in 7 games

Way to much capital expended for rental Bo (no dice) when BOS is uber-strong @ C right now.

Forbert is the shut-it-down D-type that wins championships and you ship him out of town for picks...
The playoff roster expands - best to keep DF & bring a McCabe in for depth/injury...

Boston is doing pretty well right now without Horvat, and they can wait until summer to see whether they can re-sign him. That's much too much for the Bruins to pay for an early chance to negotiate with him.

As a vancouver fan even I think your over paying a bit. But its good to see that you understand that you have to pay to get a guy that's on pace for 50+ goals this season. 1st, lysell, beecher, zboril, for horvat (50% retained), lockwood and McDonough.
