I bet you think a Vancouver 3rd is like a 2nd too. That "it's just like a different round picks" are assinine statements He's a 7-8 defenseman with TB and they have to do dollar in dollar out. TB allowed him to walk for nothing. Nothing he showed against TB this previous fortnight gives any indication they made the wrong decision. In 2 games he took 4 penalties 2 of which were scored on including the game winner in Tampa. He also is a very bad skater by fact he wound up on his a$$on the ice he skates so badly.

Crazy as this sounds, but Boeser might be one of the last targets from the Canucks the Canes would go after. Not a system fit.
