Apparently there are rumours that the Devils are interested in Boeser. If Meier goes somewhere else, how would you feel about Boeser for Johnsson + pick?

It's not that I want to trade Severson but it's going to be near impossible to pay him close to 6 million on a 3rd pairing when we have Nemec and Hughes coming up. Getting Schenn gives us physicality that we don't have for the playoffs.

Boeser has a lot of hang ups. Skating is probably my biggest problem with him. If you asked me a year ago I would say probably. But that contract is a negotiation killer to me.

I dont see why ottawa would do that trade. Vancouver would do that if no other team offered a 2nd. That might be enough for meier.

nah I don't think so. I like Ostapchuk a lot, but he's by no means a crucial piece for the Sens. It's a "gotta be willing to give in order to get" situation and Ostapchuk who will probably cap out as a 3rd liner should absolutely be considered moveable for the top 4 RD that the Sens have been trying to get literally for years
