Just take all those firsts from the trade that New Jersey laughs at, and give them to Arizona to take on MEV, his contract is horrendous. Everyone declines.

someone corrected me recently citing that Grier was asked about it and he said that three 1sts was not totally accurate

Just because the Sharks asked for 3 first round picks doesn't mean they're going to get it. That seems to me like more of a starting point for the Sharks that will get negotiated down to something more reasonable. Personally I think a Karlsson trade, if it ever occurs, would be an offseason move. As for the other trades, any team is going to ask for a pretty penny to take on Vlasic, and even at half his cap hit Severson doesn't have anywhere close to that kind of value as a pending UFA.
