This is assuming Detroit can't or doesn't want to afford Bertuzzi and the Rangers want to win now.

I still think it's good for us but idk if it's crooked or not.

I vote crooked! DET is never agreeing to this, NYR are not shipping out both Kaako & Lafrienere - even though with the amount of retention it should be tempting…

Sorry bud, @Rhea told me you don't have that problem LOL. I keed, I keed! Couldn't resist, you set yourself up.............

Regarding the trade, I don't think DET gets the value they need for this deal.
That's a massive return for VAN......Instant rebuild, which usually means it's a little over the top

Detroit isn't helped by any of those players.

Boeser isn't worth his contract and neither Wolanin nor Woo fills a need for us.

Wallinder is outperforming both Edvinsson and Johansson right now and coming very close to Seider's numbers in SHL so he won't be traded unless you offer multiple 1sts and A+ prospects. Detroit have no reason to sell low on Bert and Määttä is very efficient and may have played himself into another contract.

I can assure you that Detroit will not be partaking in any of this.

At the very least...

The prospects the Canucks are trading are so low as to not matter. Upgrade to Filip Johansson and Connor Lockhart is a bare minimum (and not much/ still not enough of a prospect upgrade IMO)...

And I agree that Wallinder has risen WAY up on the Red Wings radar and will not be an easy get by anyone.

No thank you says the Wings.

And no thank you says the Rangers (Horvat's a nice get but they're not going to let go of Kakko & especially Lafreniere's potential just yet...)

Wallander has risen up the Wings depth chart with his play in SHL and seems to be a tip prospect in Wings system. From reports he is on the heels of Evidsson. Now that is alot to say, but these are the rumblings. Also giving up a Maatta who is solid , not flashy and Bertuzzi, whose value is so low, and nothing coming back of true value, can not see Stevie doing this trade. Browser's value is better than Bertuzzi's but not great.

I think it works if Wallinder and Woo come out. VAN is still getting a haul, though I'm not sure Rangers will be willing to move Schneider.
