I dont think Bertuzzi is worth a 1st these days, Kerfoot is better than Gurianov too

Take out the first for Bertuzzi, replace it with a 3rd, and the Leafs do it. 5 points in 17 games played doesn't command you a first

You are getting a fourth back, so it kind of depresses the value of a 1st.

babatunde is out of his depth in regards to Bertuzzi's value. Bertuzzi will cost that, but Detroit doesn't need the fringe pieces in your deal. Make it Liljigren/1st for Bertuzzi/Maata and I think Toronto might have a deal.

Lol Liljegren is not going anywhere, and is arguably Toronto's second most important D. The first + a b prospect and quad A player is quite fair for Bertuzzi

Heck i'm willing to take Guiranov+2nd+3rd round pick from Dallas for Bertuzzi. That's the best we hope to get. But knowing Yzerman he'll surprise us and get a better offer for Bert.

I would take those 3 things for bert at this point. If it were last year it’s a different story but I am afraid that even though his reputation and ability is worth a lot the questions depreciate his value to about that.
