Detroit has no use for depth players coming back, so if they move Maata it will exclusively be for futures as far as value. They could take an expiring contract back for cap purposes, but it won't be considered an asset, but a money move, so that cannot be factored into value/cost.

Ryan is just money going back. I am hearing from friedman and others though that what was a first last year is a second and a second last year is a third type thing though. Maatta isn't a 3rd pairing Dman, He's only playing on the 3rd pairing because he's just getting over Pneumonia and Lalonde doesn't want to overwork him.
