Not bad. I imagine CBJ retain and the pick has conditions on how many games Gus plays.

Nyquist idea is interesting.

Too many inconsequential pieces going to St Louis to get both players.

The impression I got from Chris Johnston from TSN is that if the cap works they can take him for a day and then put him on LTIR like what Tampa did a couple years ago with Kucherov. So might need to do it a couple days before deadline when they accrue enough cap space

Why are we messing with the CF favorite Kulikov for COL’s 3rd?!

I thought I’d Ducks and Rangers fans had a great thing going with that

Haha I’ve broken away from that in my deals hoping Drury is a hard line negotiator to make it happen

If you want Vova max retained and Barby, it'll be more like the 23 1st, a 23 2nd and Robertson (or some will say Korczak), and the Blues will take Blais back to further help with the cap. The other two are hard passes and a deferred pick isn't going to win the Barby race.

I’ve tried to include Kravtsov to move his money off the books and make the trades work on the cap hits. Hajek will probably get thrown into some deal or they’ll finally waive him. Figured with Mikkola possibly moving he’d be good insurance for them

The problem with that low ball offer is it doesn't give Anaheim any incentive to trade Kulikov. I'd rather have him finish the season as a Duck (we'll still need defenseman after the TDL) if all I'm getting is a 4th pushed out a year.

If you want to hold firm on a 4th pick that's fair, but in return I'd hold firm on the pick being 2023. Which makes this awkward because NY doesn't have a 23 4th and thus the idea that the COL 3rd is close enough.

I suppose there's a timeline where they bite the bullet and take Kravtsov (I swear I spell his name different every time), but they'd be much more amenable to taking Goat, one would assume. Hajek is everything wrong with the Blues D this season, I cannot envision a scenario where they agree to take him. They have 3-4 LDs in the AHL better than Hajek.

Haha gone through that with his name too since he was drafted. I like Gauthiers game this year, he’s a penalty drawing machine but I’d still rather give him up then Kravtsov.
