Montreal says no because they will probably get a better offer elsewhere

People said the same thing about Chiarot last year. Teams going for it often overpay at the TDL. The patterns of recent years is Montreal should get good picks for Edmundson and Monahan

Not sure why the Blues would take Bokk back or add a 23 3rd for that matter.

Remove the pick going to CANES and replace the 6th rd pick with the CANES 2nd rd this year

BTW: I doubt the HABS trade with the CANES after taking KK from us and thank you for that

I doubt the Habs would not trade with the Canes if the Canes were the right trading partner and the right trade assets. We can make that argument about returns, but don’t think the NHL runs that way. However, always nice when you can throw a parting shot at KK.

Lehkonen is worth a 4th max.

Kulak has no value, you'd be lucky to get a 6th.

Yeah, I've heard all that crappy brown stuff before.

I saw the comments last year and decided to lay low because I knew Montreal was going to get good returns. As much as I like capfriendly it’s difficult because you don’t know if you’re talking to someone that played the game at a high level or a 14 year old with zits lol

I would say that they have a better chance of getting a 1st for Edmundson than Monahan

Its called Armchair GM for a reason, also fans overvalue their own assets, which makes sense, as they are biased. I fall into that too.

Agreed, considering Monahan has a broken foot he’s healing from.

I try to keep emotions out of it and only look at the athlete as a hockey player. I find that helps but I do agree, I’ve seen some crazy lopsided trades and that includes Habs fans.

You should lay low especially if you feel the urge to propose a Josh Anderson trade to New Jersey

I don’t even think Anderson is getting traded. So you won’t see me making any Anderson trades lol

Definitely not on the Monahan train. On the fence concerning 'senko.
