Newhook is younger, cost controlled and out producing Dvorak. So you'll have to add a lot more then Ylönen to get the avs to do that.

I mean MTL ACGM’s are comedic relief at this point. Tell me why COL trades the best piece by far for an older, lesser skilled, more expensive player and a guy that couldn’t even make the Avs roster? Need

Dvorak is just worse and more expensive Compher. Avs can’t afford to keep Compher next season, they sure as hell can’t afford Dvorak.

If he was retained 50% and avs pro scouting believed they can fix him, reverting his time in Montreal back to how he was in Arizona.

Maybe….but wouldn’t give anything of value for that risk
