Trades
1.
EDM
  1. Carter, Jeff

The Jets have spent too much time and money developing Stanley to give him away for a rental. It's also unlikely the Jets want McGinn's contract after this year.

Still a huge no. In terms of value, desire, and need.

You’d have add a 1st+ to be worth while.

And Monty does not have a say in personnel decisions.

I don't think Stanley is much tbh, the game has passed by him and he's just a placeholder player.

That Nuge trade makes no sense for the Oilers. Why would we trade our 60 point scorer for that Junk. Your short about 2-3 first rounders.

It's an example of good asset management. You may not need to make the move but it would be good for the club long term.

I agree. But I feel Holland is the type of GM to pounce on this, get rid of a long term contract for two positions of need.

We don't need Carter he is not good. he fell off this year very hard. Hes negative value. Dumolien is fine but not worth nearly as much as nuge. Even Holland would not do this. Nuge is a huge part of the reason Oilers make the playoffs this year. You can't dip into a huge role on the team to fill two others cause thats gonna cause a problem now. carter is not good enough for Edmontons bottom six either I would way rather have Foegele.

No it doesn’t. It’s 50 cents on the dollar.

Trading a .75ppg producer for a .45ppg producer with less term straight up is beyond stupid. It’s an insult of an offer.

There is a chance they move Hall to clear cap space but it will be for picks and prospects with no cap returning. A 30 point 3rd liner is if no interest.

I bet you said that when you acquired Zacha, but he's completely transformed. Kapanen is not much different of a situation.

Zacha for Haula were even producers with same term left. Piss poor analagy. 🙄

And no, thought it was a great trade at the time.

You can’t be that dense to think Hall and Kap are equal value. Going to assume you are a troll, just looked at the rest of these trades. Either a troll or delusional.

I am glad you are having fun here but every one of these trades borders on delusional

No it isn’t. It’s just an example of a horrible trade for Boston.

I never denied that these are bad trades but just trying to show that it’s realistically gonna get considered by the GM in real life cuz they aren’t that smart at evaluating talent.
