    laugh Detroit's not giving up those picks just so the Sharks can buyout Vrana, What a joke Detroit doesn't need the cap space. And we decline big time.

    Detroit does not have cap issues. Zero reason for them to have to pay to rid themselves of Vrana's cap hit next season. Best case is he comes back and recovers from his personal issues and scores at previous rate. Worst case is he doesn't and just ride out the last year of his contract

    Why would San Jose take on a buyout at all? Rather have the cap space than spare picks. Would want a better return for Meier and Benning too

    Barabanov, sure. You can keep Reimer. He isn't an improvement over DeSmith and is a little more expensive.
