Well with talk of them buying out Vrana it would make sense for them to save money, term, and get compensation for him instead of nothing.

Vrana is hard to gauge, we don't know the extent of the rift with him and the team and how it effects him being traded. Whatever his issue with Detroit is could make other teams not want to touch him for any price.
