Nope. Roy is as untouchable as Kopitar and Doughty. He's the only defensive RHD the Kings have in their entire pipeline and will not be traded. Faber was supposed to be his heir apparent, but he's not around any more.

Demko was playing poorly this season before he went down with an injury, and there's no indication that he's still a "number star goalie." The Kings have absolutely no use for any more wingers. They have too many as it is.

LA has no interest in moving Roy for Demko.

No that isn't retention that doesn't effect his cap hit which is what most people's biggest issue with Myers. That is real dollars saving Ottawa may be on the lower end scale but with raises due is going to be closer to max cap then the floor. Really only team that would probably be interested in that would be Arizona. Maybe in the off-season if they want to use their retention slot on him to bring him down to 3m for another team if Arizona is on his 10 team list. It would be smart for this to be propositioned. Myers goes to a team he wants to play for Arizona gets 3m cap for 500k real dollars and say a pick and Van gets cap space and a lesser pick then Arizona.
