I believe this deal would help both teams. Kravtsov is another guy who probably needs a new home. His skill set is much different than Jeannots is, but with time and the right opportunity, Kravtsov could be a stud for Nashville. He has a toolkit that is definitely untapped as of yet

CHI declines. Maybe the value is there, depending on how CHI would value Gauthier and Blais. But they aren't the kind of pieces that actually benefit us in any way.

I’m a bit biased with Gauthier, but he’s the next Tolvanen. Someone is going to get lucky picking him up, GG isn’t a lineup genius by any stretch, he just isn’t in our plans for whatever reason

I don’t think so. Labanc is kind of a perfect fit at that price and term for us. We don’t need Zac (Fox PPQB). Maybe it only cost a second 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d do Krav for Jeannot 100 times out of 100. Just because he’s not staying regardless. So I’d rather get a need even if he’s not as a good a player. His value is down and nothing will bring it back up, in NY anyway

And Hajek is up there as the worst dman in the NHL lol. Maybe a 3rd instead.

Sure. He has a pedigree that says he could be a late bloomer and pop at any moment. But, I doubt CHI makes that bet. I could be wrong, but I think they would much rather get a pick and/or bet on a prospect than a player who already has 4 NHL seasons under his belt and hasn't showed much.

Zac should be the Rangers PP2QB and 3LD but if you were to trade Zac to SJ it would probably be Zac/LeBlanc straight up 1-1 maybe Rangers kick in a mid round pick like a 4th (maybe a 3rd).

I would do Krav for Jeannot as well but Jeannot is going to cost more $$$ next season so it would probably be better to include Krav in a trade for someone like Taraseko as an add in.

If you're gonna pick up Labanc (I don't hate the idea), you gotta get SJ to retain the full 50%. He's signed through next year and every single dollar is going to count then.
