Montreal isn't taking Vlasic and Johnsson for that and you haven't compensated us for Anderson yet either. This is the worst joke ever on this site

Montreal is giving up two cap dumps and getting two in return. Vlasic is the worst of the four, but Anderson and Armia are much worse contracts than Johnsson

My trade proposal is not the worst joke ever, the purpose was to find a way to free up space on each team's salary cap. It's not an easy task and sometimes a team like the Montreal Canadiens has to make choices like receiving a bad contract (Vlasic) in exchange for an unprotected 2024 1st round pick from San Jose. Well, I tried to gauge what could be done for each team situation. That's all !

Why exactly does Montreal need to free up cap? We have like 11 mil available for next year and another 10.5 once Price goes back on LTIR. You didn't factor in that Montreal had cap space in spades and are rebuilding so don't need more

They can buy Vlasic out for free and not take a massive haircut on return for their two best players

Soon as I saw Nemec, I said no. Don't really care whom they're getting back.

I hated the pick when we first got it, then I saw how competitive he is, and now I love the pick.

Armia, Tatar, Nemec are not worth giving up Meier, vlasic and a 1st. SJ is not going to be trading their 1sts for a while
