CHI declines. Holl and Steeves add nothing CHI wants, and a 2024 1st alone doesn't pay for McCabe with retention, let alone including Lafferty as well.

But what happens when Murray returns....like next season. Lots of addition cap has been added for next season, and great young assets has been traded away.

It’s great to take a trip down memory lane to when the leafs acquired Murray. This place was flooded with 90% leafs fans saying, “he’s fantastic, just been injured,” and 10% chuckling saying, “you think that’s gonna change?”

Ducks decline, Henrique is scoring at the same pace 5v5 as Horvat over the past 3 years (18.1G per 82 GP)

He can play anywhere up and down the lineup at C and LW, PK, PP, leadership, proven winner at multiple levels, stanley cup final experience.

Henrique with half a season of retention is the definition of a player that gets a 1st at the deadline, now add on another year to and you can see where Im going

Hirvonen is a fine secondary piece for a Rico but he shouldn't be the most valuable piece here, Kerfoot is a cap dump in this scenario he doesnt have value to us.

a 3rd, a second a year from now a cap dump and a prospect that doesnt really bring anything exciting to the table. I have a hard time believing at least 5 teams dont beat this offer.

Ducks probably keep Rico unless they get a first, they easily get this type of return next year at the deadline for him

Just to a add. Henrique probably gets about the same return at TDL 2024 as he does now. Ducks still need good players next season, so I agree with you Henrique likely stays.
